Michel contacted me out of the blue with a request to photograph his matric farewell session with his date. I asked him if he had any ideas or if I had to plan and just let him know. No, he had already organised the venue and could we meet at 4 pm at the circle. I was flabbergasted. This young man had planned it all. He asked for his own permissions and still does his own follow-ups. From all the farewells that I have photographed, he was the first to have organised everything.
